Yes. At VANonsite, whether you can book a fixed loading date and time depends on the package you choose. For packages of 15 m³ and above, you can select a fixed date and time slot for more precise planning.
The “fixed” option (dedicated vehicle) is available for:
Moving One (1 m³ / up to 100 kg), Moving Basic (5 m³ / up to 300 kg), and Moving Medium (10 m³ / up to 500 kg) are normally carried out in a flexible scheduling format.
If you still want an exact date and time with a smaller package, the move is handled as a dedicated option and priced like the Moving Premium package.
In exceptional cases, we may offer an individual quote if our vehicle will be passing on your preferred date.
Yes. Every move carried out by VANonsite is automatically covered by basic transport insurance for the duration of the transport.
To ensure the insurance can be applied smoothly, we recommend:
preparing a list of the items being moved
taking photos of your belongings before transport,
providing an estimated value of the items.
For new or high value items, we also recommend keeping proof of purchase or payment confirmation.

Yes. With VANonsite, you can change the moving date as well as the pickup or delivery address after you have made a booking.
To make sure the changes can be introduced smoothly, please inform us as early as possible. Early notice helps us adjust the transport plan flexibly and, in most cases, avoid additional changes to the price quote.
The sooner we receive the update, the easier it is for us to propose the best solution.
Yes. In exceptional cases, VANonsite may allow you to travel with the driver, mainly for short moving routes.
Each request is reviewed individually and must be agreed in advance, so it does not affect safety, the driver’s working comfort, or applicable regulations.
If this option is important to you, please let us know when placing your order.
With VANonsite, booking the service requires a deposit of 10% of the total order value.
The remaining balance should be paid no later than 48 hours before the scheduled loading.
For moves outside the European Union, or routes that require customs clearance, ferry fees, or other additional formalities, payment may be required earlier or in full upfront. In such cases, all payment details will be provided individually by our specialist.
Yes. VANonsite also offers last minute moves, which is the fastest possible way to arrange the service.

For safety reasons and to comply with applicable regulations, certain items are excluded from transport with VANonsite.
In particular, we do not transport:
Flammable and explosive materials
for example gasoline, oils, paints, varnishes, solvents, lighters, and fireworks.
Chemicals and toxic substances
including cleaning agents, pesticides, fertilizers, and other hazardous chemicals.
Weapons and ammunition
transport of any kind of weapon, including firearms and ammunition, is prohibited.
Prescription medicines and controlled substances
including narcotics and medicines whose transport is legally restricted.
Live plants and animals
for safety reasons and animal welfare, we do not transport live plants or animals.

The VANonsite service price includes all basic costs related to carrying out the transport, including:

Important: VANonsite also provides services for partner companies across Europe. In such cases, the scope of the service and pricing may differ from the standard VANonsite offer, because the job is carried out under the partner’s terms rather than as a direct VANonsite order.

Yes. VANonsite supports you through the entire customs clearance process to ensure your move runs smoothly and without unnecessary formalities.
For moves to countries outside the European Union, the customs clearance cost is included in the automatic quote you receive after completing the form on our platform.
