FAQs (high‑intent)

How do you calculate the price for a house move?
We build a fixed quote from 5 inputs:

  • Volume & weight (m³ / kg) of your inventory.
  • Route & distance (pickup → destination, tolls/e‑vignettes).
  • Access at both ends (floors, elevator size, long carries, parking permits).
  • Service speed (budget part‑load vs dedicated express with fixed dates).
  • Seasonality/timing (month‑end, summer weekends).
Example: Family 30 (≈30 m³) Munich → Plovdiv with lifts both ends: Dedicated = 2–3 days; Part‑load = 3–5 days.

What’s the cheapest way to move a full home to Bulgaria?

  • Cut volume: sell/donate bulky, replaceable items pre‑survey.
  • Choose part‑load and keep dates flexible.
  • Avoid peak dates (month‑end, high season weekends).
  • Reserve street bays/elevator pads early to avoid waiting time.
  • Self‑pack sturdy boxes (≤20 kg) and label Room + Priority.

Do you offer express dates (e.g., key handover)?
Yes — book a dedicated van for fixed load/delivery days (often 1–3 days EU→BG). We confirm your slot after the video survey and deposit. Ideal for key‑handover and tight move‑in windows.

Are household goods duty‑free within the EU?
Generally yes for personal household effects moved within the EU. City permits, building rules, and resort access windows may still apply. If you’re moving pets/vehicles, prepare the relevant EU documents.

Can you pack, disassemble and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Options: full packing, fragile‑only, or assisted packing. We can disassemble/reassemble beds, wardrobes, tables; we bag & label fittings and tape them to the item. Custom crating available for glass/art.

What can’t go in the van?
Hazardous/pressurised items (solvents/paints/gas), loose lithium batteries, perishables, and live plants. Valuables/IDs should be hand‑carried. See the What We Can’t Load section for details.

How does insurance work for house moves?
Standard carrier liability is included; enhanced cover is available for high‑value/antique pieces. Keep an inventory and take pre‑pack photos. If something’s not right on delivery, note it before signing and contact your coordinator.

Do you offer storage‑in‑transit if dates don’t match?
Yes — short‑term SIT bridges gap days; longer storage is available on request. We deliver once you have keys and access. SIT is billed by m³ + time; ask us to add it to your quote.
